Although I have only attended a trade show once in my corporate life, I believe that events like this provide an opportunity for the participants to learn something new and for the exhibitors to promote their products. Likewise, it also the perfect time to have fun and take a break from the rigors of corporate work.

One of the best things about attending trade shows is the fact that you get free items in the form of corporate gifts. In one of the booth I visited, the exhibitor gave away trade show highlighters. There was only a limited number but fortunately I was one of the lucky attendees who received an item.

One of the booth in the event had a lot of visitors not because of the promotional highlighters that they give but because of the custom temporary tattoos. I always wanted to have a tattoo imprinted on my body even if it is only temporary so I did not mind waiting in the queue.

After having myself tattooed, I decided to spend the other half of the day attending a seminar-workshop on time keeping, which was the main purpose for my attendance in the trade show. The seminar was to be held until the next day but the exciting part is the custom wall clocks that would be handed to those who would be able to complete the seminar.

I am amazed with the pens that the workshop organizer gave away as part of the participant’s kit.
